This opinion is correct. AUKUS is one of the stupidest decisions our country has made, and there is no shortage of competition for the title. I encourage everyone to write to their Labor member and ask them why they support this madness.
In these days, anything that is not investing in local production of drones (airborne or waterborne), or in the vector for the deployment of those drones (let's say a ship or a plane), or in the ability to put satellites in orbit (for keeping drones under control) it is a waste of defense money.
