Three things I think you should read
Stuff I've wanting to share for a while, but couldn't turn into their own articles
The first is a quote by Elizabeth Bruenig from her and Matt Bruenig’s podcast, about what many liberals who think they’re smarter than conservatives miss, especially in the context of conservatives dying because they haven’t had a vaccine shot. I’ve paraphrased parts very mildly.
“If you’re a liberal, and you think you’re smarter than conservatives, which I would venture 99.9% of Liberals do think… if you think you are smarter than a conservative, here’s the juice, you are obligated to feel sorry for them. If you think you are smarter than someone, hot tip, you didn’t do anything to earn that. You won the genetic lottery, you’re born that way, you were a given a gift. So you are obligated to use it for the benefit of others, not sit around on your laurels and congratulate yourself for how morally upright and bright you are… If you think you’re smarter than someone, if you think you can process information in a way they can’t, if you think you can remember things they can’t or have common sense they don’t, you should try to help them. Earnestly, honestly, unceasingly.”
And the third and final thing is the outrageous case of Lamar Johnson.

A weird critique of "use intelligence to aid the conservatives", is that "power corrupts". Some (incl. Yarvin) would claim that there lies wisdom, and should be left lone, through non-interference. This in turn notes that intelligence is a kind of sin, and that wisdom and charisma matters more.
