It’s been a big year already. I’ve just been informed I am to be awarded a PhD thesis without revisions, a result I scarcely dared to hope for. I’m looking for work. If you’re aware of any jobs in greater Sydney (or elsewhere remotely) let me know. I am looking for 0.4-0.7 FTE roles. My hope is to work in a part-time role for 2-3 years while I publish various papers.
That's great news! As you may know, I was all set to be one of the examiners but our occasional contacts disqualified me. But the other examiners have got it right, and I can read your thoughts here, expressed clearly and succinctly, rather than wading through the academic prose of a thesis.
